Banks Closing Your Accounts?

Your Revolut, Wise, or Monzo Account Was Closed? You Have Options.

If you’ve recently had your account frozen, restricted, or closed at Revolut, Wise, Monzo, N26, Starling, Monese, Payoneer, or any other digital bank or payment provider – despite having lawful residence, transparent income, and legitimate financial activity – you’re not alone. And you’re not without options.

What’s Happening

Account closures at digital banks are rising sharply. In late 2025, Revolut froze accounts of various nationals across the EU – many of them lawful residents, students, and humanitarian visa holders. In December 2025, Revolut announced it would close all Ukrainian customer accounts by February 2026. N26 previously exited the US market entirely, shutting down every American account. Post-Brexit, traditional UK banks have closed accounts of British expatriates living in Europe. Customers of Wise, Monzo, Starling, Monese, and Payoneer have reported similar experiences.

The pattern is consistent: heightened compliance requirements and automated risk-assessment systems are leaving internationally mobile customers – expatriates, cross-border entrepreneurs, freelancers, diaspora communities, digital nomads – without stable access to essential payment services. Often with little or no explanation.

What Cepheus Pay Offers

Cepheus Pay* provides payment services specifically designed for internationally mobile individuals and businesses who are underserved by conventional providers. As an FCA-authorised institution, we don’t cut corners on compliance – but we’ve built our processes to accommodate the realities of cross-border life rather than penalise them.

Our platform enables you to:

• Send and receive funds locally and internationally

• Access payment cards for everyday spending across various destinations

• Maintain financial access while living and working across borders

• Connect with real human support when you need it

Who It’s For

Cepheus Pay is for anyone whose legitimate financial activity spans multiple jurisdictions – cross-border residents, international entrepreneurs, freelancers, expatriates, and anyone who needs reliable financial infrastructure that reflects how they actually live and work. Whether you’ve been affected by account closures at Revolut, Wise, Monzo, Starling, N26, Monese, Payoneer, or a traditional bank, we invite you to explore what we offer.

Fair Access, Full Compliance

Financial inclusion and regulatory compliance are not mutually exclusive. Cepheus Pay maintains full FCA compliance while building systems capable of serving customers whose cross-border profiles are often rejected elsewhere.
